About HostPapa

HostPapa was founded in Burlington, Ontario in 2006 by Jamie Opalchuk, aiming to pair simple shared hosting with strong customer support for small businesses. It expanded internationally from 2007 onward into the US, UK, and other markets, then grew mainly through acquisition from 2019 on, picking up Lunarpages, MezzoHost, HostLabs, Canvas Host, Silicon Valley Web Hosting, and Deluxe Corporation's web hosting and logo-design business among others. It remains privately held and founder-led, and added VPS and dedicated servers to its shared/WordPress/reseller hosting lineup in 2014.
