About HostUp

HostUp (legal entity Hostup AB) was founded in 2019 by David Berndtsson, who remains CEO and principal owner; the company has taken no outside or venture funding and is 100% Swedish-owned. It runs its own hardware and network out of a single data hall at Obehosting AB in Älvsjö, on Stockholm's southern edge, and became an accredited .se/.nu domain registrar and a RIPE NCC member in 2022 to control its own IP allocations directly. The catalog spans shared and WordPress hosting, domains, and the KVM VPS line vpsudo lists here, running on AMD EPYC hardware upgraded to the 4th generation in 2023; a second Stockholm availability zone followed in November 2025.
