About OVHcloud

OVH was founded in Roubaix, France in 1999 by Octave Klaba, who started the business with help from his family and grew it for most of two decades by reinvesting profits rather than raising outside money. It later took on KKR and TowerBrook as investors to fund its cloud push and rebranded as OVHcloud in 2019. The company listed on Euronext Paris in October 2021, though the Klaba family kept a controlling stake.
