KVM NVMe SSD VPS hosting with Linux and Windows plans, plus a high-capacity SAS storage line.
SmartHost's own company page says it was formed in 1998, and it operates as a Delaware LLC run from Henderson, Nevada by founder and managing director Shawn Arcus. It sells VPS, dedicated servers, colocation, SSL, and domains with a heavy focus on wholesale and reseller partners, and reports more than 10,000 clients. Much of that scale came through acquisition: its own acquisitions page lists a long roll-up of smaller hosts absorbed over the years, including BurstNET's IP (2015), JAXVPS (2016), VaporNode and Enoctus (2019), HostMaxim (2020), LetBox (2021), and SiteTrec/HostHappy (2022). (Unrelated companies trade under the SmartHost name in Ireland and Poland; this is the US smarthost.net.)
