About Verda

Verda is the November 2025 rebrand of DataCrunch, an AI and GPU cloud founded in Helsinki in 2020 by Ruben Bryon (CEO) and co-founders who started it as a self-serve GPU cloud run out of a garage. The rename came with a repositioning from a GPU-compute provider toward a broader European AI cloud. It sells on-demand NVIDIA GPU instances (from the A100 up through H100, H200, and Blackwell), CPU instances, InfiniBand GPU clusters, serverless containers, and NVMe block storage, running from its own datacenters in Finland and Iceland on renewable power -- one Finnish site channels its waste heat into Helsinki's district heating. The company says it is cash-flow positive and has raised around $200 million to date, including a $117 million round in April 2026, and it exposes a public, no-authentication API for its on-demand instances.
